Merry Christmas!!

Just wanted to share a few pictures of Oliver opening some gifts. He found the hat in his stocking and insisted that it be worn, tags and all.

He wanted to play outside before lunch. I am convinced he could cut glass with those looks.

A 'choo-choo' Christmas!

Okay, so at daycare there is this train table and Oliver adores it! Everyday he goes running into daycare so he can play 'choo-choos' before breakfast. So clearly we had to get him one for Christmas! The problem is our place is way too small for a stand alone table. So we decided to build one that we could just put on top of the coffee table. This way he can play with it, but we can just put it away in his closet when he isn't playing.

So Angel built the platform and it is fitted to our coffee table. He was even nice enough to line the bottom with felt so it didn't scratch the table. I painted it and we permanently affixed the track and buildings.

Oliver LOVES it!!!

(Don't make fun of our little home-made table. LOL )

Christmas Morning...

The Yucky Love Stuff

Meet Veronica and Alex...they define yucky love stuff. They are 'that' couple...the one that is so in love it makes you sick. But how could they not be? Look at them...they are adorable! They made for the perfect engagement session.

This session has been rescheduled at least three times because of the horrible weather we have been having in Houston. But yesterday turned out to be perfect. 83 degrees in December...couldn't ask for anything more. LOL

V & A, you guys were awesome and I hope the wedding planning goes smoothly!

He is just so cute.

When he looks like this I almost forget that he is capable of screaming at me for hours at a time. He looks pretty harmless and cute...very decieving. HAHA It is nice to see him smile every once in a while though.

He is dancing to his favorite show, Jack's Big Music show. You should definately check it out, especially if it can make crabby patty Oliver smile and dance.

Can't decide if I like the color or black & white better, so you will get both.

Oliver and his big boy room.

The day I had my ultrasound and they told us he was a boy, I instantly knew two things...what his name would be and what his room would look like. So now that the baby stuff is gone and he is all grown up his room is exactly what I had imagined. I love it, and I think he does too.

The pig family, sans pigs.

I photographed this family a couple months ago with their pigs...yes pigs. So we met up again and this time they left the piggies at the barn.

I love teenagers, they are willing to do just about every strange thing I ask without reservation. Perfect age and an awesome family!

Okay that ended up being much longer than I had anticipated. Oops.

Happy 1st...so, so very late.

Oliver's little friend Ewan turned one at the end of October, and yes I am so behind that I am just posting it now. He is a chunky monkey, but apparently the extra weight makes him happy. He is the most content child ever born. I think his parents thank their lucky stars everytime Oliver visits. Happy First Ewan!

Red headed times 2!

This family is gorgeous, and how could you not adore red-headed twins. They look as different as night and day, but they really are the sweetest little boys. Mom and Dad are awesome too; they don't look or act sleep deprived at all. LOL

I can't wait to photograph them when they are a little bigger and have a little more of that awesome hair!!!

Red, White and some H2O

This family was a lot of fun. You might recognize the boys from my portfolio - the let me drag them around dowtown Houston during the middle of the summer heat. The weather was much more cooperative this time.

The youngest three (we won't call them kids) gladly took a swim once we were finished, and it has to be my favorite photo from this shoot.

Debbie- thanks so much, you guys were awesome!

Trick-or-Treat

I wanted a peacock, his Daddy wanted a dragon...I lost. But I have to admit, I never knew a dragon could be so cute! Seeing as his favorite thing on the planet is a donkey, the dragon seems quite appropriate. HEHE I was afraid he would have one of his famous meltdowns, but he actually liked the costume and saved the tantrum for when we tried to take it off.

Introducing, Oliver the fire-spitting dragon!
